When it came to the interior design and decor I knew we needed assistance in creating beautiful spaces in our newly built home.
Not only had we hired Changing Spaces to do the interior design and furnishings for our previous home, we had no doubt that we wanted to appoint them again to do the interior design and furnishings for our new home as well.
Their professionalism, commitment and highly organised efficiency that was applied to our project is unmatched and their creative flair and ability and attention to every detail is evident in creating the most beautiful spaces, whilst taking cognisance of the owner’s vision and requirements.

The custom headboard wall joinery is a true statement piece, thoughtfully crafted with rich walnut wood, curved ribbed glass detailing, and a sumptuous leather-upholstered headboard. This striking feature wall not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the room but also elevates the sensory experience of the space.
Above each pedestal, stunning crystal pendant lights cast a soft, radiant glow, creating an enchanting ambiance that transforms the room into a serene sanctuary by night. At the foot of the bed, a discreetly integrated TV ottoman rises effortlessly via remote control, seamlessly blending technology with design.
A plush, cloud-like rug grounds the bed area, offering unparalleled softness underfoot, while the beautifully styled shelves introduce layers of texture and depth through carefully curated objet.
The bespoke dressing table, paired with an organic-shaped mirror, introduces an element of softness and character, reinforcing the tranquil atmosphere. Two custom-crafted armchairs, complemented by a brass and marble side table, provide an inviting seating area for moments of relaxation.
Every detail, from the luxurious fabrics chosen for the soft furnishings and scatter cushions to the tactile wallpaper, has been carefully considered to enhance the monochromatic palette, adding richness and depth.

The foundation of the design is timeless, while carefully curated décor and styling elements reflect his current interests—playful details that can be easily updated as his passions change.
A thoughtfully designed desk area provides ample storage, display space, and a generous work surface, supporting both play and study as he matures. The headboard wall serves as a striking feature, crafted from a combination of wood and MDF, introducing warmth, depth, and texture to the room.
This bedroom is a true sanctuary for a young boy who finds joy in building Lego and immersing himself in the Star Wars universe. Every element has been considered to ensure the space remains both aesthetically pleasing and functionally adaptable, growing with him through the years.

At our Upper Primrose Project, this young lady’s bedroom was thoughtfully designed to reflect her personality while allowing for a seamless transition as she grows. Every detail was carefully considered to create a space that feels both enchanting and timeless.
The pièce de résistance is the striking butterfly headboard—a true statement piece. Designed in collaboration with our manufacturer, the concept was meticulously refined over hours of craftsmanship, resulting in a one-of-a-kind creation. Hand-carved with intricate detailing and upholstered in soft blush leather, it serves as the focal point of the room, blending artistry with comfort.
The bespoke joinery embraces a feminine aesthetic, featuring soft curves and ample shelving for display. Finished in a delicate two-tone palette of blush and lilac, it brings a sense of serenity and sophistication. Custom round oak handles further enhance the gentle, organic feel of the design.
A beautifully curved couch, upholstered in a sumptuous soft pink fabric, provides a cozy retreat. Playful yet refined scatter cushions on both the couch and bed introduce layers of texture and subtle tonal variations, enhancing the room’s inviting atmosphere.
Lighting plays a key role in setting the mood. Exquisite bedside lamps and a striking white feather floor lamp cast a warm, ambient glow, making the space feel magical in the evenings. A plush, thick rug adds an extra layer of softness, warmth, and depth, grounding the room in comfort.
This bedroom is the embodiment of every little girl’s dream—a haven that embraces its occupant with a sense of warmth and whimsy, creating a space she will cherish for years to come.

The children’s Pajama Lounge was thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming and functional space for both family bonding and hosting friends. At the heart of the room is a generously sized, custom-made L-shaped sectional couch, upholstered in a rich dark teal fabric that adds a vibrant yet cozy aesthetic. The sectional was meticulously crafted to fit the room’s proportions, ensuring maximum comfort and seating capacity.
A bespoke coffee table anchors the seating area. Designed with practicality and safety in mind, it features softly rounded edges to prevent accidental bumps—perfect for a child-friendly environment. A lower shelf provides additional storage, ideal for organizing toys, books, or extra blankets.
The custom-built TV and display unit enhances the room’s functionality while incorporating playful elements. It offers ample shelving for showcasing LEGO creations, fun accessories, and board games, transforming the unit into both a practical storage solution and a personalized focal point.
A plush, soft rug spans the floor, inviting children to sit, lounge, or play in comfort. To add a meaningful touch, we framed and installed some of the children’s artwork on the longest wall, creating a rotating gallery with room to expand as new masterpieces are created.
This pajama lounge is the perfect space for the family to gather for movie nights or for kids to entertain their friends. It blends comfort, creativity, and functionality, making it a joyful and versatile haven for all.
